How can energy and technology facilitate the lives of elderly? How do they improve their quality of life? How do active local communities contribute to active ageing? How does sound waterwater management make a difference in daily lives of citizens?
A GRAGE open day was held at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv (Ukraine), focusing on an international workshop on “Transfer of Innovation for Elderly People in the Urban Environment”.
Event was hosted by the University of Macerata, leader of EU project GRAGE with the participation of all project partners. The meeting stirred the debate on the state-of-the-art of elderly living conditions in urban areas, challenges and ways of improvement.
A Workshop on Issues for Future Cities is organised by GRAGE project partner Utrecht University in cooperation with The Chinese University of Hong Kong on 5-6 November 2015 in Utrecht, the Netherlands. The workshop is supported by the Healthy Urban Living Programme run by Utrecht University under the research theme "Sustainability".
