The European Researchers’ Charter and the Code of Conduct for the employment of researchers contains a set of general principles that specify the role, the responsibilities and the rights of researchers and the people employing and/or financing researchers, as well as the general principles that should be applied by employers and/or financers when appointing or employing researchers.
EURAXESS - Researchers in Motion is a unique pan-European initiative delivering information and support services to professional researchers. Backed by the European Union and its Member States, it supports researcher mobility and career development, while enhancing scientific collaboration between Europe and the world.
- Helps to identify job opportunities, research grants, funding through access to an international database, where (private and public) research bodies and researchers can respectively publish job and funding opportunities and CVs. All free of charge.
- Provides a network of over 200 offices in around 40 countries providing practical information and customised support to researchers working abroad and their families.
- Provides information on the "The European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers", and on the institutions which have already adopted the implementation mechanism known as the "Human Resources Strategy for Researchers" and obtained the "HR Excellence in Research" logo.
